Thanks
This final blog is about giving thanks. First of all, I give thanks for the support that my family gives me when I'm at my worst and for always being there for me whenever I need them or not. It is very fulfilling to know that I count with an amazing support system and how my fantastic mother knows what is best for me. She brings logic to my life.Second of all, I'm very thankful for my friends. Sometimes, I may not show my appreciation towards them but inside I can't thank them enough for everything they do and for who they are. They are what brightens and allay my day and keep my energy up whenever I am about to loose my mind. The joy that they bring to my life is more than enough. Third of all, I am very thankful for everything I have. I know that all those things I have are things that not only my parents have worked hard to provide it to us but also I have work hard enough to have it and also because I am blessed to even have anything at all. I am also thankful for my health, my school (believe it or not), my surroundings, the people I've met, for the experiences of my life. I am thankful for this blog because I was able to see all the blessings I have in my life and that we should take a deference moment to simply thank God for the life he gave us and not envy other peoples lives. In short words, I am simply thankful for everything that has been put in my life, even the not so great things because if it weren't for those yore moments I wouldn't be who I am today.

Do you really want to read people's mind?
Haven't you ever wish to have the ability to read someone's mind? It would be a life saver and it would clear most of our doubts. But what if someone is reading your mind? Would you like that? Reading minds seem like a solution to some of our problems but in reality it can cause a whole bunch of other problems. First of all, reading someones mind is an invasion on someone's privacy. Many people won't enjoy that because of all sorts of reasons like discovering secrets or knowing things that may end up changing your point of view on that person. Second of all, it would ruing the surprises. Knowing everything can be dull and banal. Can you imagine, knowing who likes you, what other people think of you and even know that they know what you are thinking of them? Not okay. Third of all, it could cause disputes between people and confusion because of what might other think. Also, it could be irksome and abstruse to hear every little thought of everyone in your head. Lastly, it would derogate our curiosity and imagination and everything would be so trite. That is why is better not to know and let your curiosity and imagination wander around the world. Somethings are better left unseen and unknown. Curiosity and imagination awake our soul.

This school year.
Don't you feel amazing, being able to say your a senior? It is very gratifying to know after all those years of school, you finally made it to the last school year. Many people enjoy this year to the "max", unlike us UGHS seniors. This year has been the busiest, full of school work year ever. Lately, all I do in the weekend is spend quality time with, no not my family, but with my notebooks confining my free time. Knowing that this is our last year as high schoolers and that we aren't able to enjoy it feels horrible and frightful at times. From all this works and things we have to do from school, instead of having insomnia, I get tired very fast. Many of my friends that are from another school have told me that they are having the time of a lifetime and they are enjoying every minute of being seniors. Fortunately, being able to share this same feelings with your classmates feels good because you know that you are not the only one going through such situation and the loneliness fades away. They allay my days and they keep my hopes up. Probably this year hasn't been the best but with the friends and classmates I have simply makes me want to be thankful for being able to study in this school, excluding all the works we have.

Bioluminescent Bay
Kayaking with a group of friends in the Bio-bay in Vieques was an unforgettable moment. The Bioluminescent bay is a bay that have this kind of microorganism that shine when cause any sort of movement in the water. When we first got near the entrance you stop seeing civilization and start getting in touch with the environment. The road was dusty with big wholes filled with water, not so affable looking. All I could see around the road was nothing but trees and darkness. I was very dauntless to go out there and see how was going to be. When we got to the bay, we immediately jumped right out of the bus and started getting ready for this whole new adventure ahead of us. Mosquitoes where everywhere attacking us and the unfortunate thing about it was, we weren't allowed to use Off because that is very toxic for the microorganism in the bay. You can imagine how stressful was being attacked by these little creatures, it was so surcease. Walking to the bay, you could smell the scent of mangrove, feel this fresh air breeze and see the capacious bay like as if you were smelling a scented candle. The floor of the bay was so slimy and it felt funny under your feet just like a blob. In the shore of the bay, you could barely see those green, sparkly microorganism shinning, but when you hoped on the kayak and started rowing deeper into the middle of the bay you could see the most fascinating green particles glowing as if you were leaving a trace of glitter on the water, almost abstruse. You could even see the fishes in every detail despite the sullenness that we had around us. That feeling you get while rowing in this wonderful magic bay is such an unbelievable feeling. This color of green will never leave my mind having a pretense of glitter. Like they say, the simple things in life are the bests.

That moment...
Have you ever had a "that moment"? If you say no, you are surely lying. That moment is when something happens in your life, doesn't matter if their minute, that when you look back is inevitable to think of that moment as "that moment". For example, when you pass your driver's test, when you fill out the college applications, when you graduate, when you finally buy yourself something after saving money for that, even your first kiss, and lots of other moments. The feelings you get when you reminisce on those moments are simply fulfilling and brings a kind of incite to your life. Life consist on moment like that to keep us going and do feats because looking at those moments we can see that we can actually do it and that nothing can stop us. May seem such a stupid moment in the present but is a big step for the future. Go on and don't be avert doing moments that in the future you'll say with your savvy personality: I remember "that moment".

How to do a delicious strawberry frappe :)
The frappe is a very refreshing and a fantastic drink, and there's an facile way to do it with your typical ingredients. The good thing about this is that there's no prospect of going wrong and if it does you can add a little more of something and make it all better. All you need is a blender, frozen strawberries, a long spoon and orange juice(or any other juice of your choice). First thing to do is to connect the blender to any electrical plug. After that, you should start by adding four temperate cups of juice into the blender and then a cup full of strawberries. When you turn on the blender, you should start of easy, until you end up on the highest button on the blender. If you see it clumped up, all you have to do is get a spoon and start mixing it until is nice and smooth. If it's thick, just add a small amount of orange juice and turn on the blender. You know it's done when you see it's very smooth and nice which can be eventually. Voila! There you have it a easy, homemade strawberry frappe.

Giraffes
What's your favorite animal? Without hesitation I would immediately say giraffe. These animals are so fascinating, elegant and most of all beautiful. Believe it or not, there's a story behind my big fascination towards this animals. When I was little, I was always the tallest and skinniest girl in school. People would degrade me by calling me names like toothpick, spaghetti, stick, and other skinny related names. The nickname that always hit me hard was giraffe. When I heard that name, I didn't know what to think. Most of the time, I would cry after school because of this nicknames. My mom always placate me, "Bea, have you ever heard of anyone saying how ugly giraffes are or they are such stupid animals? No. You shouldn't take that as an insult, you should take that as a compliment." After podering what my mom said, I eventually fell in love with these creatures. Ever since I was proud to be called all those names, especially giraffes. Giraffes are and will always be my favorite animal. My love and fidelity for them is unexplainable and I relish the moment that my mom said such a thing.
