This school year.

Don't you feel amazing, being able to say your a senior? It is very gratifying to know after all those years of school, you finally made it to the last school year. Many people enjoy this year to the "max", unlike us UGHS seniors. This year has been the busiest, full of school work year ever. Lately, all I do in the weekend is spend quality time with, no not my family, but with my notebooks confining my free time.  Knowing that this is our last year as high schoolers and that we aren't able to enjoy it feels horrible and frightful at times. From all this works and things we have to do from school, instead of having insomnia, I get tired very fast. Many of my friends that are from another school have told me that they are having the time of a lifetime and they are enjoying every minute of being seniors. Fortunately, being able to share this same feelings with your classmates feels good because you know that you are not the only one going through such situation and the loneliness fades away. They allay my days and they keep my hopes up. Probably this year hasn't been the best but with the friends and classmates I have simply makes me want to be thankful for being able to study in this school, excluding all the works we have.

Bioluminescent Bay

Kayaking with a group of friends in the Bio-bay in Vieques was an unforgettable moment. The Bioluminescent bay is a bay that have this kind of microorganism that shine when cause any sort of movement in the water. When we first got near the entrance you stop seeing civilization and start getting in touch with the environment. The road was dusty with big wholes filled with water, not so affable looking. All I could see around the road was nothing but trees and darkness. I was very dauntless to go out there and see how was going to be. When we got to the bay, we immediately jumped right out of the bus and started getting ready for this whole new adventure ahead of us. Mosquitoes where everywhere attacking us and the unfortunate thing about it was, we weren't allowed to use Off because that is very toxic for the microorganism in the bay. You can imagine how stressful was being attacked by these little creatures, it was so surcease. Walking to the bay, you could smell the scent of mangrove, feel this fresh air breeze and see the capacious bay like as if you were smelling a scented candle. The floor of the bay was so slimy and it felt funny under your feet just like a blob. In the shore of the bay, you could barely see those green, sparkly microorganism shinning, but when you hoped on the kayak and started rowing deeper into the middle of the bay you could see the most fascinating green particles glowing as if you were leaving a trace of glitter on the water, almost abstruse. You could even see the fishes in every detail despite the sullenness that we had around us. That feeling you get while rowing in this wonderful magic bay is such an unbelievable feeling. This color of green will never leave my mind having a pretense of glitter. Like they say, the simple things in life are the bests.

That moment...

Have you ever had a "that moment"? If you say no, you are surely lying. That moment is when something happens in your life, doesn't matter if their minute, that when you look back is inevitable to think of that moment as "that moment". For example, when you pass your driver's test, when you fill out the college applications, when you graduate, when you finally buy yourself something after saving money for that, even your first kiss, and lots of other moments. The feelings you get when you reminisce on those moments are simply fulfilling and brings a kind of incite to your life. Life consist on moment like that to keep us going and do feats because looking at those moments we can see that we can actually do it and that nothing can stop us. May seem such a stupid moment in the present but is a big step for the future. Go on and don't be avert doing moments that in the future you'll say with your savvy personality: I remember "that moment".
